Does Hydroquinone Make Skin Darker

Kyokun - Karate ni sente nashi jutsu - 3

Master Taiji Kase gives another interpretation of the second kyokun, in an interview published by the magazine Budo International in July 2000:

"My advice to practitioners of Karate-do is very simple: we must pay attention to what was said by Gichin Funakoshi "Karate ni sente nashi" (in Karate there is no first attack). You must understand this concept so very deep. Both in mind that at technical level. We must ensure that the attacker can mentally understand that it is better for him not to attack, let him feel and he accepts. This is the true meaning of the maxim "Karate ni sente nashi" the opponent gives up his first attack and thus the aggression does not happen. "

Bathtub Rust Around Drain

Kyokun - Karate ni sente nashi jutsu - 2

The apparent contradiction between the terms Master Funakoshi Gichin "character essentially defensive karate" and "one should never use for offensive purposes" opens the door to another level of interpretation that Master Roland Habersetzer, always in his encyclopedia, introduces: "The first movement, and although the outside may be seen as an initiative to attack, must be conceived as a defense."

Plée Master Henry, in his columns, enlightens us on different levels of interpretation of kyokun and brings together an explanation for the warning "It poses a mortal danger" Master Funakoshi Gichin about aggressive behavior:
"At first level, " There is no first attack in combat real warrior " will inevitably be understood by Mr-all-the-world "Do not attack first." This is because everyone is convinced that "Whoever attacks first wins!". This is not true. This strategy may be valid in some cases ... if the opponent is naive or blinded by his vanity. (...)
The second level teaches the exact opposite of the first level, (...) the first attack only works if the opponent is below us. If we are technically superior (but less mentally) we have a chance to "eliminate" that until the precise moment when he decides to attack, which inevitably provokes an opportunity we can exploit.
You can not touch (or cut) at the distance or the opponent can also affect us (or we cut). You can not attack first if we think have a chance to eliminate the opponent, and that thought is inevitably accompanied by some deconcentration and anticipated some satisfaction. Indeed, the mind can not decide one thing at once: to attack or parry.
The second level is, somehow "wait without preconceived idea that your opponent decides to make the first attack, and attack immediately in the opening thus created."
This is also consistent with the precept of Heiho Kadensho (1600s), which states: "attack without the enemy decided to attack greatly increases the risk of defeat" and adds "put you the distance (ma) where the enemy can not touch your body, but at the distance where you can take advantage of his first unsuccessful attack, which will become fatal for him, because all you need to move any your soul, without reserve and without fear, to undo it immediately. "

Kyokun - Karate ni sente nashi jutsu - 1

"There is no first attack in karate jutsu."

The twenty karate jutsu Niju kyokun
Habersetzer Master Roland, in his encyclopedia of martial arts, provides the basis for the definition and initial interpretation of this kyokun ;:
"Second twenty rules of Gichin Funakoshi, one of the most famous, engraved on his memorial stone at high Enkakuji temple in Kamakura." There is no first move (attack) in karate " . This award (Kaisetsu) sums up the attitude that needs to be basis of the practice of karate like martial arts (Budo) in general. "

Master Funakoshi Gichin insists on this notion in his book Karate-do My Life My Way :
" I have always insisted, in my teaching, the essentially defensive karate. It should never be used for offensive purposes. "Watch your words," I wrote in one of my first books, "because if you're bragging, you will create many enemies. Remember the old adage that a strong gust of wind can uproot a large tree while the willow bends and passes the assault of the wind. The cardinal virtues karate are humility and prudence. "That's why I teach my students to always be alert but not aggressive. (...) Some of the younger, I must say, do not understand my attitude: they believe that karate should be used when circumstances require. I try to point out that this is totally despise the true meaning of karate. This is not just a game It poses a mortal danger. Can we afford to risk a life without thinking already so short? "

The details of the Master kyokun show that this is far from being a pacifist precept, but it must understood in a sense of efficacy research ( "always be on alert" ), in a context that is not the sport of karate ( "not a simple game" ), but well that the preservation of life.
We find this notion of preserving life, not pacifism, in The Book of Family Traditions of Yagyu Munenori (1571 - 1646), Shogun's master of arms, which begins by quoting a saying inspired the Tao -Te Ching: "According to an old saying," Weapons are instruments of evil, that despises the Way of nature: from the Way of Nature, we should use it when we can not avoid it. "(...) Why weapons are instruments of evil? Because the Way of nature is the Tao, which gives life to beings, therefore, an instrument used to kill only can be that evil. "

No pacifist idealism indeed when one reads the following:
"However, it is also said that the use of weapons to kill - at least when it's inevitable - is also part of the Way of nature. What does that mean? The flowers bloom and the greenery thrives when the spring breeze blows, but at the onset of autumn frosts, invariably, the leaves fall and the trees wither. It is the law of nature. It may therefore come a time when we must break down what needs to be. Some benefit events to commit evil. When evil occurs, it must be fought. Therefore, it is said that the use of weapons is also part of the Way of Nature. "

some smiles ***

Being constantly Listening to global worries, it will divert our attention to events more enjoyable. We need this time to make sense of things, the world faces with its two theatrical. Tragedy and comedy. It is the same books, we abandon momentarily exiled writers and distant wars to revel in the entertaining read from the novel by Rachel Laverdure Flesh and bronze.

Four people are arrested by a massive bronze statue erected in a park. An elderly man sitting on a bench tends a rose to a woman standing beside him. On his lap rests an open book. The sculpture plot or indifferent. It is part of the cityscape near Laura, a divorced woman in her forties. She lives with her daughter, Amanda, thread between Laura and her ex-husband, Eric, remover works of art. Laura runs a small business of breaking dishes that allows customers to unwind at low cost. For men and women try to resolve their problems, dreams of seducing Laura David, employed in a hardware store. She succeeds, but the inconvenience it will reveal the true nature of the young man. Laura let her perilous journey to identify Malorie, teenager, who lives with his parents and brother. His mother, having put in his head to see her daughter become a famous pianist, forced him to take courses which interest absolutely no Malorie; it occupies her time between her friends, her lovers, her studies. She spotted the bronze statue and, believing himself misunderstood, she slips out of tickets in the old man's outstretched hand. Until a blue ticket meets their white slips. The risk is great, but Malorie can not help going to rendezvous with a stranger ... Shortly after the danger to Malorie, we meet Eric, the ex-husband of Laura. He loves his daughter Amanda, his new flame, rich and divorced, Helena. Versatile and multifaceted, they disperse, complies with the demands of people that frequent family as foreign, as if his life depended on it. Opportunist, he feeds his insatiable curiosity about the complexity of human beings. However, deep down, sleeps a disturbing dilemma: Who Is the son, his mother why she abandoned him at birth? He too was struck by the bronze statue to whom he feels "rather benign indifference. One day, he is responsible for the move on the forecourt of a building. Viewed from another angle, the statue is a troubling question to Eric about man and woman within it. Eric let his introspection, enter the apartment and Nadège Rosary sexagenarian mismatched couple. He is plebeian, alcoholic and tyrannical. Obsessed with sex. She, intelligent, cultivated, on the lookout for new cultures. Dependent on a demanding husband, she dreams that he dies, her guilt despite the abhorrent thought. Nadège out with his girlfriend widow, Colette, with whom she can discuss everything. Often they go together to the movies, attending museums. Fading memory of Colette reserve an amazing surprise to Nadège; her friend being allowed to carry a man, Fulgence, who will fill his absence, calling itself "blower words, indulgent to oblivion. "Gradually, Nadège realizes that Fulgence is far from displeasing him and devises a secret rendezvous. He will discuss the bronze statue of the sculptor whose name amazes Nadège. Fulgence conduct a thorough investigation whose outcome pinking a wonderful horizon Nadège.

well-crafted novel, ably led by Rachel Laverdure. We suspect that the protagonists are not strangers to each other, fairly common romantic process. If we consider that history is divided into four parts, the Nadège and Rosary is the most touching, most original. The role of the girl Malorie seems agreed, even if the girl makes several useful elements to the plot. All four are walking in their personal quarters, stumbling on misunderstandings legitimate whenever the statue, triggering specific reactions in them: the unfulfilled sexual desires of Laura, the speculation of Eric tormented, repressed regret Nadège. Beneath a thin, often delightful, the novel is part of a gravity that enhances the reflective thought of the author. It never fails to drag fierce humor where the reader captures a meaningful idleness. Entertaining reading, provided some smiles, writing a vocabulary enriched abundant and defined.

Read to enter quietly into the New Year holiday, the compassionate heart of the torment of beings of flesh, statues magnet surrounded in mystery, apparently insensitive to human grunting ... But who knows?

Breastfeed Your Man Vid

Sensei Morio Higaonna tale

"Bokuden, grand master sword, one day received a visit from a colleague. To make her three son to his friend, and show the level they had achieved by following his teachings, Bokuden prepared a little trick: he wedged a vase on the corner of a door sliding, so it falls on the head of him who enters the room.
sitting quietly with her friend, both facing the door, Bokuden called his eldest son. When he stood before the door, he stopped short. After the door ajar, he picked up the vase before entering. Closing the office behind him, he replaced the cup before going to greet the two masters.
"This is my eldest son, said Bokuden smiling, he has already achieved a good level and is becoming the master."
The second son was called. He slid the door and began to enter. Dodging accuracy of the vessel he nearly received the skull, he managed to catch the flight.
"This is my second son, he explained to the host, it still has a long way to go."
When it was the turn of the youngest son, the latter rushed and received heavy vase on the neck. But before the vessel does not touch the tatami, he drew his sword and broke in two.
"And this one," replied the Master, is my younger son. It's a little ashamed of the family, but he is still young. "

Exile, thirty years later *** 1 / 2

A little girl with a book pressed against her, hiding in an attic, lurking in the reeds at the edge of a pond, to read in peace. The "big people" are unwilling to admit his desire for solitude - a child five, six, should not be alone. The girl loves to tell stories inspired by writers who will be his first friends. Later, his love of writing and reading will not dry up. With a critical mind, she will address this qu'écrivent peers. Today, she focuses on the story of Kim Thuy Ru.

Another little girl has waited thirty years for us to share his memories of before and after his exile. She was born in Saigon during the Tet offensive, that is to say, one day before the lunar new year, one of the Monkey. The offensive is the most important battle, and most deadly Vietnam conflict in the American presidency of Lyndon B. Johnson. Terrorized by the Communists, entire families flee, using means precarious and sordid. The girl, Kim, has ten years when, with his wealthy relatives of South Vietnamese, she Bourlingue in the hold of a boat. Over two hundred people are crammed on top of each other. first wave of boat people. Most will be collected in Malaysia in a refugee camp. Following this terrifying ordeal, Kim Thuy describe the fear that clutched at each crossing the Gulf of Siam. The Communists at their heels, promiscuity prevailing among fugitives, a light bulb hanging from a nail, only light touch to what the girl clings. After several months of the ultimate downfall, the survivors will be sent to Canada. Having no other choice but to adapt to the North American life, the girl will lose the floor momentarily. In Granby, it is Jeanne, "our fairy shirt and pink tights with hair stuck to a flower," which shall it. Music and dance returns to the wounded body of Kim flexibility. The circular movements of the arms and legs seemed to Joan "wall washes, stir the air. "Thirty years would pass before chugging Kim can put an order in circumstantial his memory as his bruised body.

It is inevitable that Kim Thuy speaks for itself before returning mentally and peacefully with his family. His mother, legalistic, began to "reinvent" fifty-five, his father lived comfortably carefree in the moment "without attachment to the past. His grandparents, aunts and uncles. Sao Mai's cousin from whom the narrator is always the shade. There are mainly two children, Henry and Pascal. Thus, from past to present, memory wavers from one side or the other. Intermingling of faces, familiar or foreign, all bearing the name of reconciliation after As the years have softened the suffering of the young woman, attenuated its disappointments. His youth gave him the irrepressible desire to start a new life. As is débobinent as the tragic events of that time, the author recalls the people who helped her survive. Mr. Ming, who studied literature at the Sorbonne, who survived a reeducation camp. Through his generosity, she discovered "the purity, the power of writing. Madame Girard, Granby, which had hired his mother to her household, unaware that it " had never held a broom in his hands before his first day of work. She also refers to a server in Hanoi, accusing him of being carried away by the American dream. Superb lesson in humility! Mr An, formerly professor and judge, became autistic, the victim re-education camps. To the young woman, he learns the nuances. Kim Thuy's family was saved by many people, the youngest to the oldest, the author tells us clearly, specifying rarely extant them an immense solidarity.

Later, Kim Thuy will be going back and forth between Vietnam and Canada. Without excess, with modesty and sensuality, it depicts men loved incognito birth of the child to her aunt in September, the disability of his son Henry, his reunion with Johanne first lost friend, who had reached out in arriving at Granby. Apart from these stories moving, sometimes funny, takes memory fragmented, tormented, the author recounts the dangers of communism, the indescribable courage of women in her country, the details of his feelings, memories of ephemeral gestures. Different features poignant roam the turbulent wakes telescoping author and the reader almost blown so the words are just unveiled at barely audible. The writing is rooted in the lightness of childhood, its seriousness in improbable adventures. Kim Thuy had to relearn everything, both French and English, Western thought, how to eat, work sometimes miserable, she lived in opulence family.

Shards of life, exalting the poetic dream, to constantly reconcile what was, what will be. Two worlds transients, strong and fragile, often interchangeably Kim Thuy, eloquent in the wilderness until the grounding in a relaxing oasis, then left show the folly and wisdom men.

It was mentioned that the book Kim Thuy Ru - rill French, Vietnamese lullaby - was awarded the Governor General's Award 2010 and the Consumer Price Press Book Fair in Montreal 2010.

When Did O.g Mudbone Die

The shaded face of love *** 1 / 2

That's it, we passed the time of the groundhog ! It is hoped that this charming little creature wakes up faster, we announced the arrival of spring ... We rejoice in advance of the sun warmer, buds, branches clawing, primroses, daffodils brightening up lawns ... Magnet dream is done in the company's novel Nadia Ghalem, Love in the Time of mimosas.

While there exists an entry in the feminine, in this book represents a genuine example. In a sensitivity of skilled poet, Nadia Ghalem invites us to travel in the countries it has left before we explore different. In search of the first adolescent love, the narrator avoids sentimental annoying mannerism, observes beings with empathy. His keen eye of a journalist scans beyond the ruins, gives life to ancient civilizations, not forgetting all the memories haunting Fodhil. It is a "summer love in the time of mimosas. The tree stands "beside the gate [...] crowned with gold. The tree, like Proust's madeleine, the memory looses the author, inviting the reader to dizzying rides in places where architectural treasures mingle with hints of a sour blatant colonialism. Responding to the invitation of the passionate narrator we follow in the Louisiana bayous before leaving in Andalusia where the woman lived several years. Civilization which, since its reconquest in 1492 by Isabella and Ferdinand of Spain, has managed to regain its splendor. Yet it was the cradle of a Mediterranean world that had pretty much invented. Algebra, poetry, medicine, not to mention alchemy and philosophy. Wonderful pages in which we Nadia Ghalem instills his love for the Arab-Andalusian Spain, while it shares with us his tenderness for his mother, came to Grenada as a tourist. "My mother, my tear. His companion struggle. The narrator tells the life story, "mine and others. "Every country in which it discovers or she works, is marked presence of a pathetic she remembers painfully. The trees will also remain as to shade, protect, intense love she has for Fodhil, "this boy of fourteen, I was just younger. He was on vacation with his grandparents and then the summer ended, he had left "by the five o'clock train in the morning," the war began ... Later, the narrator takes us in Abidjan, a city she loved so much. Meanwhile, she returned to Montreal, peaceful and tranquil area that protects his harrowing memories. Recall that, from Oran, Algeria, Nadia is Ghalem Quebec since 1965. Journalist, poet and novelist, she has continued to reach out to the battered planet, afflicted with incessant wars. Staying in Germany with her fiance, she met Henock, he studied carpentry. Figure meaningful that the narrator portrays in a few sentences, she sees this young man "a kind of reincarnation of Fodhil. "

one continent or country to another, invisible thread, a tenuous Fodhil weaves back and forth between a past exalted by the absence, this one rocked by Montreal city as" a park just wander the streets and houses. The women, symbolized by the grandmother and mother, by humble passers have aroused emotional incantations of the author when she talks about women Aures and Kabylia Oran. Khadija, "Merchant of going house to house to sell or trade jewelry [...]. There is especially the aunt - Amti in Arabic - which tells the story of Scheherazade, Hypatia, Nefertiti. When everyone was installed under the covers, Amti chop the tragic life of these three women, learned before they are allowed to possess some innate knowledge. IMTA claims to have seen strange things in Carthage, cited as the narrator depict with evident nostalgia. The pages devoted to Amti, interwoven poems are among those that have particularly affected. There Houreya, seen for the last time in Petra, Jordan. Stands with her bright shade Fodhil. The narrator says his desire to die in the desert, "the biggest sandbox in the world" in which she played and which destroys human weaknesses. In this mythical place, "nothing can defeat us. "There was the stop in Rome, which had been" magical ", the disappointment of Florence. Coated emotions of unsatisfied desire to adolescent beloved. Tunis, Carthage. The silhouette of the Carthaginian is emerging against the backdrop of legend, we do not know very well that the author or the narrator, magnifies the majestic ruins of a city Democratic crushed by Rome.

We can all describe this ambitious and enthusiastic narrative, inspired by the homeland. The African and European continents overlap, exposing humiliating situations too often personified by children. Mimo, orphaned street, "as docile as a little animal. Mina, a prostitute to ten years, "slender and fragile as a baby bird fallen from its nest. "If the days follow one another like beads on a necklace, Ottawa's narrator reflects on 11 September when the world had changed ... Everywhere, nature arises, color harmony eastern and western landscapes. A tree with flaky clusters, the face of a young boy evanescent scattered recurring memories of the narrator. The mimosa and Fodhil entangled in two paradises lost, the stones degraded by war, that of childhood swollen by the time which inexorably gully features juveniles. But it is in the Northern peace, and a birth, Nadia Ghalem ends his journey experiencing.

story that shakes the reader of a conditioned torpor patterns, decorated with a dynamic writing, sensual. Well the memories of a loving heart for the youth of the flesh, grouped paintings in museums. The words crackle, replete with a passionate litany. The last picture, now five in the morning carrying Fodhil prelude to the end of a world, time Green's innocence. Read

not a novel, but such an event, disrupting what we think we know our convictions, after we had informed Nadia Ghalem that peace with ourselves and our fellow fed to the flame of all fires . Exiles vagrants, desires unappeased, tumultuous men and their weapons.

Cameltoe Female Atheletes

A woman, a child, a man *** 1 / 2

This morning, we was surprised by a few flakes of snow. We had the uncomfortable feeling that winter was coming on tiptoe. The days and frosty white plague us. We love sidewalk cafes, parks and squirrels, which wander the streets. Seasons in Bloom! For several hours, forget the desolation of the landscape by reading the novel by Donald Alarie, Thomas is back.

The world is such that the author does not seem to touch them, masterfully portrayed. It covers in one hundred pages of many subjects from modern society unrestrained. First, there is a man, Thomas, who, after fifteen years lived in Ontario, returned to Quebec in the parental home. His father died, her mother was placed in a nursing home. There is a woman, Annie, with whom Thomas had a brief affair before he left in Ontario. She is a lawyer, independent, sedentary. Thomas, who dreamed of exile in Australia, made him believe he was going on this end of the world. There was no way for her to follow him. There Benedict, the child of Annie since her birth she is raising alone. Around these three individuals will ordinary life takes place across a small village. However, Thomas will receive a tragedy hit. A degenerative disease that attacks the nervous system to condemn the wheelchair. There's David, writer, carpenter and painter. We met him in the previous novel by Donald Alarie, David and others. It is also the father of Annie. Wise man who rarely makes an opinion involuntary door few judgments, takes away from the village rumors. Asked no questions when Annie had told him fifteen years earlier she was pregnant. Curiously, the peaceful image of the man not unlike Donald Alarie, discreet and silent when it comes to extol his work that he has important .... There are the familiar faces that, in the park or in his house, Thomas observes. Marco, Eve, Leah, Odile, Donald Maurice, Frances, Anthony. Young and old will play a major role when Benedict seek his father. Serve as a model for the author to describe the hassles experienced by each of them.

The story is clear, narrated with appropriate words. No flash weigh down the stylistic theme of life that the author grabs with both hands, exposing a low voice, in measured steps, the complaints are incongruous that we shrug of annoyance. Some shout, some kill. Donald Alarie, away from excess, indicating through the speech of his characters reflected the injustices committed in the name of antiquated laws, conservative traditions, a variety of pernicious arguments no longer in the beginning of the twenty-first century we would like more liberal. To substantiate his statements truthful, Donald Alarie involves three main voices weaving his story: that of Thomas, Benedict and Annie. The trio of choice will ultimately agree to family reunions.

Pending such an outcome, Donald Alarie be able to hope. Between the lines, it suggests that nothing ever is definitive, especially not the deception dividing men and women since time immemorial. We wonder why so many outmoded taboo obscure the memory of persons, reduced to a kind of paralysis that explains human stupidity ... Donald Alarie slides according to his story, the horrors of battered women, the loneliness of elderly people, isolation residences, the worst evils of pedophilia, misunderstanding of homosexuality among young people. And what about Annie, episode by hour ...

Roman expanded, murmured, which lessens the tensions of the contemporary world rigid, moves us away from books steeped in selfish moods, not aimed further or higher than the wrinkled flesh of navel. We love that the writers highlight the misery of men and women to inform the reader attentive. Often the little things added up to each other reveal the strength of writing, the significance of a style. Power the effect of words is a hammer blow our minds! So is it the novel by Donald Alarie. Far modes, ignoring any compromise, the narrative reads with the conviction that every existential microcosm contains its share of benefits, especially when it is contemplating the end of a telescope where humor spreads the muted echo of laughter ...

The soul of the Samurai - Thomas Cleary

"A monk asked an old: " What is the Way? " asks him there. "The Way is the normal mind" replied the Elder.
The principle of this story applies to all the arts. When asked what the Way, the former replied that it was the normal mind, that this supreme state in which every neurosis has vanished and the mind has regained its normalcy, free from neurosis, even amid the neurosis.
Applying this precept in archery, if you think your shot when aiming your shot will be unstable and your arrow missed the target. Are you aware that you're calligraphy calligraphy while you, your brush will tremble. If you are aware of playing the harp at play, you play wrong.
If an archer forgets he prepares to shoot and maintain a normal state of mind, as he does nothing special, its bow will remain stable. You would a sword or ride, it's the same thing: do "not hold the sword", not "not ride," does "not calligraphy" and does "not play music" either. If you do what you have to do with a normal mind, as if you did nothing, everything will become easy and smooth.
Whatever activity you consider to be your way, if you make an obsession, it ceases to be a Way. If your heart is free from attachment, then you're Lane. Whatever you do, if you do a heart light and free, your task easier. "

Sissy Getting Girdled

The embalmer and pianist ****

Recently, it was a strange dream. On an avenue where no car only ran, men and women walked slowly. They were groping blindly, their unsteady steps, finding where to step. The features of carved faces, grin denoted a deep weariness. We watched them, not seeking their help. They were abandoned to their fate to read the novel by Helen Vachon gravity.

The narrative begins one Christmas Eve. Hermann comes in embalming a corpse. It is embalmer, forty-six, is split between two cats. He attended Clotilde that he "tries to break for some time without success [...]" The building in which he lives "is inhabited feet at the head of old things quiet. Everyone here has at least one hundred ten years. " Elderly men and women, wear their last years in entertainment as they can. Among them, Hu agitated "little green man still [...]". During playback, it will cause some surprises, although its role, at first glance, is secondary. Hermann is an anxiety to the point of having a "cushion" to help him feel better. He cares not counting the living and the dead, until one day the harmless Hu assigned to him a manuscript. Hermann guess is his autobiography, he "thirteen lives to read and enjoy. "If Hermann dream to make his kind happy, he also dreams of Zita, a young colleague who claims to love it. In parallel, a man of forty-one, known as Number 32, learns from his doctor that he suffers from "active rheumatoid arthritis, emphysema and one early Parkinson 'disease dangerously jeopardizing his career as a pianist . Shaken, he walked into a vegetable market, and finds a lost manuscript on a stall. Suspecting some oversight, he takes it home. After many adventures funny or painful, it would be long and damage to enumerate, number 32 and Hermann will meet in port. They go together terribly tormented fail to Clotilde's favorite bar. One tell who he is the son, what was his career as a pianist deemed the solitude in which his disease the plunge. He will speak of Yseult, almost imaginary friend, like a nod to Richard Wagner, emotional neglect from his father, a collector of miniatures unbridled. The other entrust the failure of his medical studies, his empathy for the body inert, his compassion for aging women. Clotilde and Zita reflect the contradictions in which Hermann struggling, not better off than the people at the end of term with which he seeks to clarify its reasons to exist.

If the shadow of Samuel Beckett's masterpiece is projected onto some unusual scenes, all reminiscent Momo, the boy life ahead, novel by Emile Ajar . Momo grew, he became the man of forty-six superbly supported by the gift of self. His kindness, his tenderness, his uncertainties make him a bit as we côtoyons in Quebec literature present love with her navel. Integrity speaks does Helene Vachon does not without the knowledge of others, no tolerance is possible or permitted. Aging is not distinguish himself, to distance himself from his own youth skillfully? Is not differentiate, as the number 32 is characterized by its physical appearance and that alone will manage to Hermann tame until death. We can always save those who fear to melt into the perilous adventure of life. They chose the more circuitous route, the most sumptuous.

Roman who, in an impulsive light set with delicious finds stylistic conceals the face of excessive anxiety easements that shapes everyday life. Modest value Hermann actions, such as to accompany Madame de Valois in the park with its paraphernalia of a painter. The narrative is peppered with poignant sequences, confirming the loneliness and vulnerability of the characters to whom we all look a bit. We liked that no clutter moral history of the protagonists who, inevitably, continue their bumpy road, the fate favoring marginal rarely wanting out of the box. The embalmer and pianist no exception to this singular class of people, displaced in time and space, therefore universal. Hence the deliberate intention of the author not to locate the landmarks. Exceptional beings did they need them to be deported out of the immense power of gravity, settling in places where no one expects but, once there, show a generosity terminal. That may be the message conveyed by Helene Vachon: never turn away from a being who wishes us well and which afflicted its uselessness, is convinced he is useless. The more gum in his footsteps, he entered more in the wake of people huddled on themselves. Without this dose of humanism which bestows the great author, Hermann would he turned to the dead to mitigate the ravages of death? The number 32 would he have sacrificed his hands to an audience that was full of praise for his talents as a pianist?

State of Grace, a hymn to life that nothing novel human than human Helene Vachon. We recall that the author was a finalist and winner of several awards in 2002, the Governor General's Literary Award and the Mr. Christie's Book Award for his book Youth The bird of passage.

Haematocrit Levels In Dogs

Transmission - History of wisdom passed down by Master Henry Plée

The article entitled "Knowing, learning, wisdom transmitted by Chinese. For a reading teacher of spirituality. " published by Philippe Filliot site Journal Scholars (see previous post), highlights key elements of master - student - namely in the Chinese tradition - elements that can be found in some traditional martial arts dojo. It describes the principal terms Teaching that the master is silence, the reference and the absence, and the necessary commitment of the student, who should in particular be available and accept the necessary duration of maturation.

A story of wisdom, sent by Mr Henry Plée in one of his columns, illustrates some of these principles:

A master of wisdom was very famous passage in a small town. Upon learning this news, the mayor thought it was a good opportunity for residents of the village and asked the master to kindly give a lecture to his constituents on the subject he pleases. Of criers circulated in the streets, announcing to the public that the master of wisdom was going to a conference Sunday in the village hall. Said master was famous for his wisdom and his humor. At the appointed hour, the room was full of men, women and children laughing at the jokes ahead of wisdom which the master was wont to sprinkle his lectures.
The master of wisdom entered the hall, greeted the delighted assistance, climbed on a chair hastily constructed and asked: "Do you know what I'm going to speak? "
-" Yes, Master, we know ! "Said one voice assistance, laughing.
Master grinned and said, "if you know, in this case it is unnecessary to speak. "
And he left the room.
After what had happened, the mayor visited the master of wisdom, he apologized for the awkwardness of his administration and asked to agree to another meeting the following Sunday. At the appointed hour, the master entered the hall, mounted the pulpit and asked: "do you know what I'm going to talk? "
-" No, we have no idea! "Replied the fellow shriveled the previous Sunday.
- "Well, if you know nothing, it is unnecessary for me to speak, since we can not discuss that with what we already know." And the master
bowed and left the room.
The mayor came to see again the master of wisdom and begged him to give residents one last chance next Sunday. At the appointed hour, the master entered the hall and ascended the pulpit.
Nobody laughed. You could hear a pin drop.
The master asked the same question: "Do you know what I'm going to speak? "
Echaudée by his experience of the two previous Sundays, Assembly cautiously replied with one voice: "Well, there are those who know and there are some who do not know ..."
"Perfect," replied the master, "in this case, those who know how to explain those who do not know. " And he left the room, then left the village.

Transmission - The relationship between master and disciple, according to Albert Camus

"It is fortunate indeed to be able, at least once in his life, enthusiastic about the bid. Among the half-truths that delights our intellectual figure company that This exciting, that every conscience wants the death of another. soon we are all masters and slaves, doomed us to kill each other. But the word has another meaning teacher who opposes the only disciple in a relationship of respect and gratitude. It is more then a struggle of conscience, but a dialogue, which goes out once more that it has commenced, and which fills some lives. This long confrontation nor does servitude or obedience, but only imitation in the spiritual sense of the word. In the end, the master's satisfaction when the disciple leaves and accomplishes its difference, while it will always keep the nostalgia of those days where he received while knowing that he could not go. The mind creates the mind, through the generations, and human history, thankfully, is built on admiration as much as hate. "
Albert Camus.

Monster Energy Piercing

Love and delight in Russian! *** 1 / 2 A

Reading many Quebec novels, you realize that they overshadow more often territorial boundaries of Canada. Their authors belong to the modern world is going in all directions ... We travel from one continent to another, accompanied by characters who have everything to say. So we do not hesitate to follow Stephen's last novel migratory protagonist of André Girard, Cosmos Moscow.

Earlier this summer, we find the young man at the airport in Moscow. He expects a group of students and their teacher were invited for a week at a seminar. The event will be held at the State University of Humanities of Russia where, seven years, Stephen is a lecturer "in French and Quebec literature. "Joining them, Johanna," an unusual girl, "he had met two years earlier in Port Alfred. She recently completed the first year of an MBA at the University of Nottingham, Great Britain. Both concluded the pact following: to meet again in a European capital. Six months earlier, they had escaped together in Prague. Nothing attracts as far as the ancient stones and their nostalgic charm. Moscow does not break their promise, taking advantage of a symposium and a heat wave, Stephen and Johanna walk the streets, pubs, museums, subway. Love each other fiercely. Two weeks before the arrival of Johanna, Stephen received his father. Rendezvous between a father risky politically engaged on the wrong side, a son who barely knew him. It took her parents to divorce, finally, Stephen learns to make sense of things. Generation duped and ridiculed as the father generation disillusioned and lucid than the son. One and one a prey to illusions truncated, will meet in a world fragmented by a repressive past still palpable, the recklessness of youth eager feigned ignorance. In the remaining bits, caution is necessary. The shadow of Stalinist repression hawkers are still rampant. The behavior of two lovers on the train to St. Petersburg is an example of touching and hopeful ...

For one week, Stephen will guide a passionate young woman wonderfully sensual and fetish. Penetrating the pen of Andre Girard, Johanna stands a statue of flesh, animated by intense carnal desires. We wonder which of Stephen or author, Johanna has created a so irresistible, that only sunken eyes perceive a long absence. The peculiarities of everyday life invents blend into an amplitude Affine an upcoming departure. They are caught between the need to catch up lonely months and the possibility of an imminent separation, Stephen and Johanna rub to miss; sharpen their feelings about the fragility of confessions that enhances the prospect of upcoming reunions Dublin. Transcendence joyful, exhaustive, we enjoy each page, savoring the drive when Andre Girard results Johanna to any historic site or museum. Some park where famous writers and painters have set foot. The cityscape dons the beauty of the metro in Moscow. " The intense heat, meals with friends, bistros, make us want to be. To address the author and his cronies!

Russian Soul that of Stephen, or that of Andre Girard, when he wrote the book dedicated to upsetting his father. Johanna on The tale was written two weeks after his return to summer in Quebec. The two beings so dear to reflect Étienne - began? - In a mirror fogs up, deformed but jubilant, the burning memory of their passing. The journey of father and Johanna in the land of lost utopias vibrates with captivating intensity, has a formidable realism sprinkled experienced writers of Romanticism and Russian artists. Fascinated, we followed Stephen in his nomadic generous, selfless, nestled in the footsteps of Johanna and father was loved Moscow.

Roman passionate, exalted by the radiant flesh of Johanna, with smiles and tears of the father, for eternity mineral monuments. Nothing is written at random, every detail, whether from a gesture, a glance, is determined by an intention surprising: that of loving and being loved for who we are. It is rare to experience extreme joy after closing a book. The lyricism that contains this novel invites the reader to share the fruit of labor where the pen seems to be embedded in an indefensible lightness. Without fear of deceiving ourselves, Andre Girard argue eloquently akin to Russian literature.

must read for letting us disorient by Stephen and Johanna, every time they refresh me voluptuously Plaza hotels in the ancient capital ...

bullying suicide

We had reason to trust in the aftermath of October sunny. We surveyed the city, makes shopping. We are entering a bookstore where the owner conveys to us his passion for books, recommending us whenever she sees us any recent release. We took note of his suggestions and then return home, we finished reading the latest novel by Aki Shimazaki, Tonbo.

Delicately, they turned the pages of this minimalist and intense story. On tiptoe, the author takes us to the land of cherry and plum. A narrator, Nobu, tells his version of the fatal events that occurred in his family, fifteen years earlier victim of a terrible injustice, his father hanged himself "at the end of the season of cherry blossoms. . Eight years after being forced to resign from a large business house in the suburbs of Tokyo, Nobu founded a juku, establishment of private courses, specialized in exam preparation. His youth was scarred by the death of his father. Respected biology professor, he has been accused of causing the death of a student rebellion. To escape the taunts of the neighborhood to the vengeance of a rogue reporter, Nobu's mother and brother had to move. Since she lives alone in Kobe. Nobu has never recovered from this unexplained death. Looking out onto the water of the river on an insect, revives the cherished memory of this "quiet man [...] His hobbies were reading, fishing and observing insects. "Man with a frail, little ambition, he waited quietly retired. His dream: to open a juku for students. How this introverted father he could slap a student at the point of killing him? One day, Nobu receives a phone call from one of his former students, Jiro Kano. He wants to meet him, tell him what really happened. Confused, Nobu agrees to receive at his office, he will then revealed the true causes of the suicide of his father.

Meanwhile, Haruko, nurse, wife of Nobu, educate their two children, she loves singing and wants to organize a choir with his colleagues at the hospital. There Mr. Miwa, former owner of the building occupied by juku Nobu. A fisherman sitting on a rock, "he nonchalantly waiting to feel the blows on his line. "Mrs. Wada, office worker in juku," is responsible for receiving and various tasks. "Akitsu, a student of the father of Nobu, who came to his funeral. Not to mention Kobe's childhood friend, the narrator's hometown. So many characters described as a watermark, like Nobu, blinded by his great affliction, had locked up tight in the folds of a fan. Objects, insects take precedence over things, soften her grief; bent under the weight of the world, connoted by the Austrian writer Peter Handke, it fails to overcome his grief, to make peace with himself.

Gradually, as the mystery dissolves, Nobu contemplates close to him, the players whom he knew almost everything, they were frozen in an impenetrable bubble. When Jiro Kano has given him his share of responsibility in this tragedy, Nobu grasp how point the young man met his father, he fled to the north still like a "dragonfly injured trying to erase from his memory the names of all the places that were bothering [...]" overlapped its inner disarray. It took years before Jiro Kano keeps ruminating past sterile, weighed down by remorse atrophied adventures he will appoint himself innen - fatality.

Dragonflies - Tonbo - so dear to the father of Nobu, are constantly present, as a metaphor naturalist. They come from South Asia-West come to die in Japan North n'enjolivant not that the chorus sang folk songs that used to be the father of Nobu and sing today Haruko and her children. For low voice, a measured tone, Aki Shimazaki tells a universal story, that of the influence of the executioner on his prey. The men of her novels are marked by a painful nervousness, seized with moral infancy, they are experimenting with timid flown to an uncertain future, often trapped in a flood of silence. Women enrich their personal desires for certainty of their own emotional and necessary to survive the worst tragedies. This was learned after Nobu Jiro Kano had him Silage eyes, amazed that some of the world around him is still liveable, imbued with a generosity that he did not suspect, his suffering had reduced his existence to a restricted universe opaque.

applied the pen, demanding Aki Shimazaki, faith in things she wears is proportioned to the role so human that it makes them play. She brushes them, moving in an orderly garden, focusing on simplicity with detail, dressing this intimate and fertile bucolic scenes where Nobu is resource. Now that the world has been rebuilt, dragonflies flutter around an old man traveled to his supernatural expression. The fluid style of Aki Shimazaki, stripped of slag, which is reminiscent of the melancholic style of the writer Haruki Murakami, commands admiration of the reader. The unspoken, such pupae, were transformed into quivering revelations. Everything is told from the lips, painted with the fingertips. That is the art of writing in Japanese!

Essence of Kata and Kihon

"In theory, kata should be an accurate reflection unchanged in every detail, kata millennia. This is the case in some Chinese schools (Kung Fu). There is nothing in Japanese schools. The Master Gichin Funakoshi was a wonderful teacher, which made his reputation more than his qualities karateka (...). It is as such that he created the Pinan, splitting the Kushanku (which became Kanku) and Bassai, then Eian, which created the division between the Shoto, and Wado. Closer to home it was still his son Yoshitaka Funakoshi Master Egami and his friend, both real geniuses of karate, which created the first two Taikyoku new purposes of simplification in university clubs ... and to search deeper. All in all kata current Japanese styles are new or modified. I have several books of the time of Mr. Gichin Funakoshi who contradict themselves and contradict the kata such as Japanese instructors show the most famous moment. And it often happens that they change their own portions of kata.
should therefore focus more on the spirit of the kata or that fall into the dogma or quibble about this or that detail of a school or a "Master ."
From the foreword written by Master Henry Plée to the book "Karate-do kata basic and advanced" Roland Habersetzer appeared in 1980 and repeated in his book "Shotokan kata" 1992 edition.

This or that retail a school or a "Master." Master Henry Plée Why he uses quotation marks for the word Master ? History Next, quoted in the book by Harry Cook "The Great History of Shotokan," gives perhaps a key. The author cites Gichin Funakoshi Karate-do in Nyumon :
"The custom was that education remains secret in Okinawa lasted until recent years. There are about ten years, I received a letter an old man who told me: "I know a kata that I never taught to anyone, and wish you pass before you die." I was deeply touched by his attention, but unfortunately I was not so easy to make the trip to Okinawa. (...) Nevertheless, my son was Gigo go to Okinawa and I asked the old man to teach him the kata for me.
The old man was transported by the arrival of Gigo. And when time came to teach the kata, he packed carefully doors and windows so that nobody can see inside the house. When he finished, the old man said: "Now I can die in peace. Among the men to whom I refused to teach the kata, it is one that has been harassing me until I agree to do so. But I have altered the shape and large movements. Also, if any doubt is emerging in the future as to the authenticity of this kata tell your father that the kata that I have taught you is correct. Chlamydia Causing Leg Pain

Shards of glass **** *** 1 / 2

The rain hits the glass hard. Tomorrow the sun will return. Such is life relentlessly pursuing things with blows of blue and gray. Joys and pains in addition to our ages. Those of yesterday and tomorrow. He, benevolent, who puts a book in hand, teaches us the magic that creates a serious or funny story. We deport far from a reality he would look through a kaleidoscope find some attraction for him. We envision a world colored by reading the youngest Sophie Bouchard, bottles.

"A dark man. A woman collapses. A father is silent. A guard feels guilty. "Key phrase that sums up the novel where the writing incisive gives meaning to history. An old man, Cyril, lighthouse keeper, took refuge in the tower at sea, to forget Dew, the woman he loved, which she runs out of love in Senegal. A young couple, Clovis and Frida, sharing the solitary existence of Cyril. He is there to "automate" the lighthouse, she analyzes their love that seemed in jeopardy. There's also Armand, father of Clovis, who in his boat, makes roundtrips land to the ocean. Messenger attentive to the three protagonists. Early in the novel, Cyril, Frida and Clovis observed, wondering about their dreams crumbled. As time passes, more silence loses its consistency. We are seeing a crossover of gestures, thoughts, camera where the author is clever characters. Family and places. Ocean and geographical conditions. Giant boots to arrive in Senegal. Goree Island. Island where Cyril has damned his soul when he left a morning dew when nothing encouraged him to pursue a destiny which broke from himself. Against the walls of the lighthouse crashing waves always restarted, whereas old goalkeeper is listening, obsessive litany. Leitmotif detuned by the presence of Frida and Clovis, awkward, hiding behind the cracked walls of their conflicting feelings. Frida is a loving sensual skin shared with his partner to the body breathes a tender complicity. Clovis assumes exchanged their promises, do not deliver in question, not suspecting the despair into which his girlfriend get caught up. The author, in keen observer, portrayed with words heavy with meaning, the descent into hell each. If one day, Cyril received a bottle from the sea, call the rescue of Dew, Frida and Clovis launch theirs the old man who does not understand their actions difficult. Bottles of alcohol. Bottles thrown overboard sealing a piece of paper scribbled a few lines. Instead of a rendezvous where reconstruct the past in smithereens. Shards of glass mixed with sand. For larmes.Tessons injuring the heart and mind, suffocated under the weight of reminiscences. Frida, who has uncovered the secret of Cyril, drowns his sorrow, burning his failure in the history of the old man. Bottle illusion, which frame the misfortune of a woman in which she gazes.

In this camera intractable Sophie Bouchard tells us how difficult it is to fall in love its like him now head above water. If life is hell in this tower random - how to Sartre, is she not a pretext? - Life on land appears perdition, stifled by too much unused space. The narrowness of the lighthouse, its roundness high, allows everyone to measure its inability to tame the human condition. Moult bottles contain symbolic dreams denied, that Frida and Clovis learn at their expense. They will tame the storm inside that mine. Neither the maelstrom emerged from the ocean Clovis marrying a man of little faith in carnal love Frida offered him. Senegal, sail the bottles, ever, Cyril will receive. Pass in this country where the strength of the sun uses the best of oneself, Frida will travel to appointments set by Cyril Rose. Before, she will put together a list of "wonders and fantasies of a lifetime. "We are not sure if she will leave to continents populated oasis, to places accessible to reality without the dream.

Could we argue that the narrative contains primarily a story of poetic writing, punctuated with rage when Sophie Bouchard, hemmed between two chapters terse sentences, encapsulates the essence of calamity slashing men and women around the world? In this "memory dump" the memory of the facts illustrates the sordid adventures of Cyril inserted, Frida and Clovis. The protagonists are as dirty on stage - the sea, another dump - allowing the author to throw the global injustices that prevent it from breathing comfortably. We do not expect that the story "happy ending" would have been indecent. On top of the lighthouse, a swirling flame is commonly called hope, the last bottle isolated with one hand, Frida and Cyril wear like a torch, illuminating the graves of Clovis and aquatic Dew.

With great pleasure we read the original novel and invigorating, finding nothing, nowhere, goes unnoticed, or things that eventually coalesce into the water and land. We also read for his dense writing, style chiseled, clean, when it comes to raw emotions uncovered by both the smart thinking of Sophie Bouchard, distracted by his desire to spread a message buried in bottles of his furies muted by a talent efficiently. spoofing martial

The kihon is known in many dojos as the work of the basic skills - defense, attack and transport - similar to the ranges for the musicians.
It is generally practiced without a partner, and advancing under the leadership of sensei or senpai chanting the signal, making the timing for each energy group to repeat the technique. Roland and Gabrielle
Habersetzer in their Martial Arts Encyclopedia Far East (technical, historical, biographical and cultural), give a definition of kihon that enlarges while noting that the generally accepted sense is restricted:
Kihon: Energy (Ki) of base (Hon ) to designate the forms of training in basic techniques of a martial art (budo) with an optimal use of internal energy (Ki). In a general sense, repetition of basic techniques, basic training, usually in a vacuum, without a partner. "Master Henry
Plée during one of his seminars debunking martial shows hidden faces of kihon:
"A kihon must be correct in arguing that both backward and also the forms and yin yang."
"The kihon martial should always be done in two, it allows, among others, to work on the psyche of the adversary."

Venice and its masks *** 1 / 2 Stories

September is beautiful, it delights us. It is rustic and urban. Gray and blue. Rainy and sunny. Like all of us, he is clothed in fanciful colors. We walk with a friend, we laughed our differences. On returning, we watched for the umpteenth time the movie Farinelli directed by Gerard Corbiau. Could not help but compare it to the novel by Marc Ory Zanipolo, we are talking about here.

The action takes place in Venice in the eighteenth century. Lavish and cruel, this past time propels us into a theatrical setting. The old painter Niccolo Guardi dies. His brother, Francesco Guardi, landscaping, too old, and his son, priest, awake. Later, the son recalls his father's promise to tell the story of "Being, the Double. "Francesco contemplates Venice city amphibian, "Like a miracle every day. . Remembering the request of his son, he wondered about "this unusual episode Venetian. "The morning sun warming, he falls asleep against a pillar and dreams ...

The parable fits during the sixty-first year of the eighteenth century. A gondola "to the roof half-barrel" enters the Teatro San Benedetto "by a lock which closed immediately behind. "Every night for two months, the arena again. Superstitious, the Venetian people hear voices "who repeated melodic and sublime operatic arias, motets and cantatas. " We will know by a spy devoted to the cause of the inquisitor red, Alessandro Di San Paoli, these voices belong to the twins unmatched Giovanni and Paolo. Both are actually Siamese twins, bound by the sacrum and woe to those who would know their identity. Whispers that their mother is a French aristocrat, died in childbirth. The opening night performance, the magic of their voices and their bodies deformed lead to a riot. Their abnormality class twins among the monsters, but the sublime range of their voice dazzles and anesthesia until the people drama. It will be grafted onto the ardent love with a young Giovanni soprano soloist, Maddalena, protected by Alessandro Di San Paoli, who had discovered ten years at the Hospice for terminally ill, whose primary mission was to treat syphilis, "which turned many poor orphaned by outstanding musicians. "At a final concert, they will be devoured by an irrepressible passion. In great secrecy, they marry, will separate until, mysteriously disappears Maddalena. Giovanni and Paolo, condemned for murder, will be tortured in the public square. As it was de rigueur in the dark ages, a miracle occurs that will divert the people of the execution of two men : The ship of the envoy of King Louis XV of France anchored the morning of their killing. "He was horrified by the spectacle [s] the place and Zanipolo ribbed. However, he went to pay his respects to the Doge [...] "The talks will commit later, the crowd was disinterested monster and sinful Maddalena, suddenly reappeared, to admire the sea and the Bellerophon," ship forefront "of where the count down René-Antoine Royer of the polm Hargençon," followed by his suite. "

In fact, the story would be classic if it came down to the love between Giovanni and Maddalena. Unable to relate the extreme beauty of the scenes depicting Venice, superbly portrayed by author Marc Ory, we look at the complexity of boorish people who governed the city. Between the ferocity of the Church and State, it was not good to be born different. Guided by illiteracy and fear of hell, the people are resigned to the inhuman demands of the Inquisition. Is not two rival families who, to gratify their ambition, will judge the fate of the twins? Is not that the famous surgeon Carlotti, Padua, who, brandishing his wig and his finger, they were crying banish pygopages, term which are designated by the Siamese welded lumbar vertebrae. The crowd there is not hysterical. "She tore his mask and wolves were trampled. To allay this physical phenomenon, a fishmonger, a devotee of the church di Santi Giovanni e Paolo, the nicknamed: Zanipolo contraction of their first names. Banished by men, Giovanni and Paolo will have little to fear from their barbarous ignorance, they are authenticated descendants of a French aristocrat mother.

Roman led masterfully by Marc Ory. In writing that is both dynamic and gentle, he masterfully describes the manners of the eighteenth century outrageous grouped around Venice, besieged by the inquisitors. Cleverly, overflowing with humor, the author narrates the life that formed the customary cosmopolitan society of a city drawn by excess. Many short chapters we delight, we read them without tiring. The conversation exchanged between an alchemist and an old English instructing the reader on the various pigments used by the painters of old, welcomed us. Giovanni Maddalena and receiving, each in turn, a course of sexual anatomy, Paolo thundering an erotic poem before his execution, all of us lush sensuality tickles! Marc Ory concluded this historical tale, freely structured on a quirky note that seems to affirm that the destiny of men never accomplished alone. We need our duality, our inconsistencies to justify our actions and our actions, decide between good and evil that hangs over us, like two brothers fighting enemies, too unable to separate.

September. The month is preferred. The month of the year is sufficient in itself. It is no longer quite the summer not quite yet fall. Month independent sports with the sun and rain. Insinuates itself between the red and orange tones. A book in hand, we can only contemplate the nature changes slowly. A little bewildered by the molting of the landscape, it is also reading the news of Vincent Thibault, Purity.

The title story introduces us to a violent underground world, which is the Tokyo subway. We are witnessing the rat race of a man responsible for the sarin gas attack killing countless people. The author addresses the offense, he described the pathetic condition of the victims, when suddenly a unexpected happens ... Narrative A new air we take a deep lesson in humility. Ajim-sensei, sixty-six, "the Chinese gymnastics taught in the basement of a small local church. A morning of great storm, waiting for his students, he "laid eyes" on the old electric organ. After discovering a book about the joy of playing this instrument, he decided to improvise and every week, he practiced his "little directory" ... A year later, going to the chapel, he can only see the flames ravaging the place where he spent so many hours serene ... What will the teacher learned that the fire started "following an electrical problem with the organ. ? We particularly appreciated the story entitled animated. An old man who visits his brother, stopping before a window of Chanel, located on the chic Avenue Louise. He is fascinated by a woman, eyes watching the clouds. The next day a "great blond in full luxury" stands beside her. Every day, the old Japanese Avenue Louise back to contemplate the motionless woman in the window, the blonde at his side to whom he felt a fleeting jealousy. Then after making a symbolic dream, he noticed the feet of the woman a "gold plate" on which the store asks an employee ... About in the shark teeth, we read the letter that a young Japanese wrote to his father, he explains how he became acquainted with Myriam, his future wife. After some adventures, the piece of a futile and broken into two tiny object has united in a harmonious affection. Other disturbing news, Naomi. Leaving his elder brother, Masaru, surprised by a violent thunderstorm, took refuge in an abandoned tower. While contemplating the architecture of the place, Naomi, a young black woman appears before him, leaving him puzzled. How is it coming in the tower? An aura of mystery around her fleet that will change Masaru until the denouement.

These new texts bring us back to the author's special talent to be savored from book to book. But in this collection, is not that the rub? The press release informs us, and we quote: "The challenge was launched Vincent Thibault with this project was to write a book that could be signed by a Japanese." Even if these texts are full of unspoken a mental shake distinguishing characters, the illusion did not work. It would have taken more votes stammering, timid whispers, shadows moving, especially more evocative silences to create a Japanese feel, as we see in the work of Yukio Mishima, Yoko Ogawa, Aki Shimazaki that. It is not enough to dress up fictitious creatures of Asian names for impregnating a culture so removed from ours. The last story, The walker, out of context, seems most appropriate to reproduce the good intentions of Vincent Thibault. The invigorating style, inimitable author, should be at the service of a literature of its own and not wanting to distinguish a civilization six thousand years.

However, we recommend reading the new impetuous to enjoy the talent of Vincent Thibault, originality punchy. Tactics of its themes, its recalcitrant actors that inspire so beautifully.

Neon Green Scooter Wheels

- Kenji Tokitsu

"(...) any aspect of kata is based on the worldview that we have already mentioned, where perfection is within reach of man, where the border between the human and the divine is labile.
In sum, the kata is the practical form, transmitted, a technique of transformation of body and mind. (...) The represents advancement in the path to perfection, with the idea that travel the path itself is the goal. "
" When performing the kata, the depth and significance achieved and experienced does not depend only on the apparent degree of perfection, but also the intensity and scope of the mental state during this time.
criteria perfectly gestures vary depending on the degree of control those who appreciate it. In each area, this perfection is hierarchical with respect to technical efficiency which she testifies. (...) Sometimes a development may seem like a failure or a flaw in the eyes of outside observers in the area worked. Conversely, when the presentation of the kata is done in public - as is the case with karate for half a century - a change takes place in the showmanship and the sequences are beginning to include unnecessary movements but appealing to an audience just learning. "
Extracts from the book of Master Kenji Tokitsu The kata. The author explains the historical sources and sociological concept of kata and it covers the dimensions (technical, communication, philosophy ,...) in a process of seeking perfection in martial arts, flower arranging, the tea ceremony, or even that of seppuku.
